Australian jewellery designer Jordan Askill has been announced as a finalist for the Emerging Talent Award at the 2011 British Fashion Awards.
The award was established to recognize and reward innovative and directional accessory design in the fashion industry.
Having worked for the likes of Dior Homme and Ksubi before turning his hand to fine jewellery, Askill marries elements of antique design and with modern flare and wearability. We’re all familiar with the rose gold heart ring, right? Right.
Askill shares his nomination with British model turned shoe designer Tabitha Simmons and famed milliner Nasir Mazhar.
The British Fashion Awards are scheduled to take place in London later this year.
